Merino wool is a natural fibre that absorbs moisture without feeling damp. It wicks away the trapped moisture to the outer layers, preventing any drop in body temperature and naturally delivering a feeling of warmth and, above all, dryness. Merino wool also has antibacterial properties, preventing any unwanted body odour. It is also finer than conventional wool and is therefore much less scratchy.

Merino sheep can be shorn up to twice a year and shed up to ten kilos of wool per year. It is a renewable raw material that is more resource- and environmentally friendly than synthetic materials.
