Your key to a successful business look: the perfect business undershirt.

When it comes to your working day, there are many good reasons for having the perfect thing on underneath. A business T-shirt prevents sweat spots, and is also breathable and regulates body temperature – contrary to the misconception that you sweat more in an undershirt! Unlike deodorant, an undershirt protects your back and chest too, and also stops you from getting chilly. In addition, the soft material is often more comfortable than the plain shirt.

The difference between a business T-shirt and a classic undershirt

Classic undershirts are usually vest tops. The business T-shirt or business undershirt, however, has short sleeves, which prevents it from showing though the shirt. In addition, CALIDA’s business shirts are all made with material functions that keep you feeling good all day long.

What does the perfect business undershirt look like?

  • High quality, soft, breathable materials

  • Fast-drying and odour-neutralising
A special finish means the material dries faster and prevents unpleasant smells. There is nothing worse than visible sweat spots on a shirt, and lined armpits ensure additional protection.

  • The perfect cut: Tapered and close-fitting, preventing unsightly creases.

  • Perfect length
The drop tail (longer at the back) with a rounded hem ensures the shirt won’t come untucked even when you move.

  • Deep neckline
The business shirt is made with a deep neckline so it remains hidden from view even with an unbuttoned collar. The clean cut (flat, seamless V-neck) prevents it from showing through the shirt around the chest.

  • Keep it invisible!

Choose the right colour. The undershirt should have as little colour contrast as possible. Shirts that are slightly see-through require a skin-coloured tone such as bronze.

  • Feel comfortable
Remove scratchy labels from the neck right away, or simply buy an undershirt without a neck label.

  • Tank tops or athletic shirts: should only be worn with opaque shirts
