Bralette: your comfortable, trendy must-have.
A bralette is a delicate bra without any wires, padding or cumbersome cups. They mostly come in high-quality lace in a classic triangle shape. A bralette or also called bustier can often easily be opened at the back like a classic bra. The bralette is a new kind of soft bra that unites comfort with sex appeal. No wonder so many bloggers are using hashtags such as #bralette and #lacebra with such joyful abandon. This undergarment is not just a means to an end: it is becoming the latest ‘it’ item. The delicate, subtly romantic lace can peep out from underneath a shirt or knitted top – or even be worn outside the shirt!
As opposed to a normal bra, bralettes or bustiers don’t come in classic cup sizes but in the standard clothing sizes XXS-L, which makes it more difficult for women with bigger busts to find the right bralette. A bralette or a bustier also offers considerably less support than a classic underwire bra. So if you’re looking for firm support and a nicely formed chest, then the bralette might not be for you. Women with smaller busts, however, will soon be filling up their wardrobes with bralettes.
