Organic cotton: in harmony with nature
Sustainability is one of today’s most important topics – especially when it comes to children’s fashion. Eco-friendly production processes with fair conditions and without poisonous chemicals play a central role. Which is why we are introducing organic cotton to our latest children's collection for the first time.

Our customers rightly expect to be able to shop with us with a clear conscience. That is why we are focusing even more on recyclable materials made from environmentally friendly and sustainable fibers. The latest children’s collection features many items made from 100% organically grown cotton (from Turkey). Organic cotton perfectly complements our MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® certification (entire children’s collection):
• The cotton is grown without the use of chemical pesticides and fertilisers or genetically modified organisms.
• Farmers are required to rotate their crops, which protects the soil and the farmland, and also helps prevent disease and crop pests.
• The soil humus level is increased by the use of natural fertilisers, which means less water is needed.
• Sustainable production in environmentally-friendly facilities with safe and socially responsible workplaces.
Thanks to the combination of organic cotton and the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® certification, we guarantee the regulation not only of how the cotton is farmed, but also how it is processed.
Our cotton carries the Organic Cotton certification, which is awarded to types of cotton that are farmed using neither genetic engineering nor chemical pesticides or fertilisers. Sourcing organic cotton is difficult; there isn’t enough of it being produced. Only around 1% of the cotton grown around the world is organic, which of course cannot meet the current demand. Unfortunately, this means that we are only able to produce a limited number of products using organic cotton. As such, we place even more emphasis on other environmentally- and resource-friendly materials like TENCEL™ and MicroModal®.
