A good pair of winter PJs should have different features. You’ll often find yourself reaching for heavy, cosy clothing, but there are other factors to consider when choosing the right pyjamas. We’ve put together the most important features that make the perfect winter pyjamas.

1. With or without the cuffs?

There are various positives to cuffed pyjamas. The elastic cuffs stop them riding up, so you’ll keep warm on cold winter nights. Depending on what type of sleeper you are, cuffed pyjamas may well be perfect for you in winter!

2. Breathable material

It goes without saying that in winter pyjamas need to be warming. To prevent you from overheating, you also need to think about opting for breathable and moisture controlling materials too. We recommend sleepwear made from TENCEL™, to ensure optimal comfort. Combined with cotton, you’re sure to feel comfortable and warm all night long!

3. Comfortable fit

The cut, length and design details, like buttons and collars, can also affect how comfortable you are. We recommend a loose cut and a comfortable collar in winter for a restful night’s sleep. If you like sleeping on your stomach, then pyjamas without buttons are your best bet.
